March Recap: Etsy Listing Updates, New Blog Posts

March flew by, but I made solid progress in multiple areas of my digital marketing skills. I used my gouache art printable shop as a place to practice SEO and content planning

Projects Completed & Started

This month my biggest win was updating all 18 of my Etsy listings. I rewrote the titles using long-tail keywords and fixed formatting issues I discovered through my research. Etsy prefers shops that are consistently active, and refreshing the listings has given me a clearer idea of how the algorithm responds to updates.

I also made progress on other parts of my marketing strategy:

Began an SEO audit of my art website: I’ve started reviewing on-page SEO elements like meta titles, internal linking, alt text, site speed, etc. I’ll continue working on this throughout April.

What I Learned

  • Etsy rewards consistent shop activity. Even small tweaks like updating titles can make a difference.

  • My original Etsy titles were formatted incorrectly. Now that they’re fixed, I’ll be tracking how they perform over time.

  • Creating blog content aligned with my product themes helps streamline promotion across platforms (like Pinterest and newsletters).

What’s Next for April

  • Launch a new fruit-themed print collection

  • Learn how to make and edit short form videos

  • Complete an SEO audit of art website

    • Implement SEO audit findings
